SRINAGAR DEC 19:-In a scathing critique of the current government’s performance, Shokia Qureshi, the Additional Spokesperson of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has voiced serious concerns over the persistent electricity crisis affecting numerous regions. In a statement released earlier today, Qureshi emphasized that the government’s inability to provide consistent power supply has left citizens frustrated and disillusioned.

“The government fails to provide electricity in many areas,” Qureshi stated, highlighting the widespread nature of the issue. “Unscheduled power cuts irk the public, disrupting daily life and economic activities. This is not just an inconvenience; it’s a crisis that demands immediate action.”

As power outages continue to plague various communities, residents are increasingly vocal about their dissatisfaction. The sporadic nature of these cuts has led to significant disruptions in both households and businesses, with people struggling to adapt to the uncertainty.

Qureshi further elaborated, “The government’s negligence in addressing this fundamental need is unacceptable. People deserve reliable electricity, and it is the responsibility of those in power to ensure that basic services are met without interruption.”

The PDP calls upon the government to take urgent measures to rectify the situation and restore confidence among the public. “It is time for accountability and action. The citizens have had enough of empty promises,” she concluded.

As the situation develops, the PDP remains committed to advocating for the rights and needs of the people, urging the government to prioritize infrastructure improvements and enhance the reliability of electricity supply across all affected areas.
