160 kanals and 10 Marlas of state land retrieved in Rajouri

Rajouri,June,07:Authorities in Rajouri have retrieved 160 kanals and 10 marlas of encroached State land at Villages of Tehsil siot and Berripattan.

A team comprising of Tehsildar Siot Dhruv Gupta , police personnel and officers of Revenue Department carried out the anti-encroachment drive at villages Dhar and Kangri in Tehsil Berripattan and and village siot and Channi in Tehsil Siot .

The district administration Rajouri has retrieved 110 Kanal and 10 marlas in Tehsil Berripattan and 50 Kanal in Tehsil Siot.

The anti encroachment drive was conducted on the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad and it was also decided in the meeting to retrieve the encroached land across the district.DDC said the comprehensive mapping of all the encroached land have already been done and Tehsildar have been directed to conduct extensive drives for the retrieval of the state State, Kacharai, Govt departments, Forest and Panchayat lands.

It was informed that the district administration would continue such drives to retrieve the encroached state land.
