16 Corps Commander Visits Sunderbani Sector of Rajouri

RAJOURI NOV 27:-Lieutenant General Naveen Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Whiteknight Corps, along with senior officers of the Cross Swords Division, visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani Sector on Tuesday.

The 16 Corps Commander took the opportunity to interact with the troops deployed in the challenging terrain of the region. He commended their unwavering vigilance and commitment to national security, stressing the critical importance of maintaining operational readiness and professionalism in every mission.

Lieutenant General Sachdeva expressed his appreciation for the soldiers’ relentless efforts in safeguarding the sanctity of the LoC, often amidst adverse weather and hostile conditions. He encouraged the personnel to continue exemplifying discipline, determination, and resilience in their duties, reinforcing their crucial role in upholding peace and stability in the region.

The visit underscored the leadership’s commitment to the well-being of frontline troops and served to enhance the morale of personnel stationed in remote, high-risk areas. In addition, the Corps Commander held a meeting with senior officers, where they discussed the current situation in the sector and he issued several operational guidelines.
