SRINAGAR NOV 23:-Prominent social activist Nighat Mir has expressed deep concern over the prevalence of underage driving in Kashmir valley, calling for immediate action to address this dangerous trend.
Mir, known for her advocacy work on a range of social issues, highlighted the risks and consequences associated with underage driving, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that young individuals are not allowed behind the wheel without proper training and supervision.
“It is alarming to see young individuals engaging in driving without the necessary experience or maturity to handle such responsibility,” said Mir. “This not only puts their own lives at risk but also endangers the safety of others on the road.”
Mir urged parents, guardians, and authorities to take proactive measures to prevent underage driving, including enforcing age restrictions for obtaining a driver’s license, providing education on safe driving practices, and promoting awareness about the dangers of reckless driving.
“As a community, we must come together to address this issue and create a safer environment for everyone on the road,” added Mir.
Mir’s advocacy efforts have earned her widespread recognition and respect, with many commending her commitment to promoting social change and improving the well-being of others.
