People suffer as authorities fail to manage Eid rush

Rajouri Jun. 03.Massive traffic jams were witnessed in various parts of Rajouri city as people ventured out for shopping ahead of Eid ul Fitr.

Failure of authorities to prevent traffic jams in the summer capital ahead of the Muslim festival Eid became a major source of inconvenience for the commuters The problem was aggravated by wrong parking and dilapidated roads in various areas of the city this comes despite the relocation of vendors who were seen as main culprits for traffic jams.

“The authorities are acting as mute spectators to traffic jams. They just hold meetings and devise traffic plans, ironically these are not implemented on the ground, it is unfortunate that even on the occasion of Eid, they have failed to comfort commuters” said a group of aggrieved commuters.

Resident appeal to SSP Rajouri look into the matter personally and reshuffle some gaurds from some naka entry points of Rajouri Mandi area of the town and also proper check on the these Naka entry points which were the main cause of traffic Jams..
