RAJOURI/BUDHAL NOV 08:-Farooq Inqlabi, Chairman of the Pani Samiti Kewal, today visited the ongoing works related to the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Scheme in Kewal Lower. During his visit, Inqlabi expressed serious concerns over the ongoing delays in the project and directed the concerned officials of the executing company to complete the work within the next 30 days.
Inqlabi emphasized that the delay in completing the scheme has caused severe hardships to the local population, who are facing acute water shortages. He called the delay “deliberate” and insisted that there was no justification for the slow pace of work. “The people of Kewal Lower have been suffering for far too long. It is high time the responsible parties act swiftly and ensure that the scheme is completed without further delay,” Inqlabi stated.
The Chairman further assured the residents of Kewal Lower that he would personally monitor the progress of the project and take strict action against any official or contractor found responsible for further delays. He appealed to the concerned authorities to prioritize the completion of this critical infrastructure project, which promises to alleviate the region’s water crisis.
