DDC reviews progress of FCS &CA Department at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY-29- : After observation of Fair Price Shop (FPS) vigil week in which 172 FPS of District Udhampur has been inspected by committees constituted by DDC Udhampur under the supervision of concerned Tehsildars and TSOs today District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Dr. Piyush Singla held a meeting with officers/officials of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department and fair price shop dealers to review the status of Aadhar seeding, re -verification of beneficiaries under AAY, PHH and NPHH exclusion categories , use of POS at fair price shop and status of Ujwala yogna at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
The meeting discussed in detail about the Aadhar seeding of beneficiaries covered under various schemes like AAY PHH, NPHH, NFSA etc.
DDC directed the FCS&CA Department to gear up the process of Aadhar Seeding and check the pilferage and reachout to all beneficiaries in a transparent manner.DDC also instructed fair price shop dealers to comply the government directions in toto and in case of non compliance strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
In order to generate the awareness among general public he instructed the concerned to organize camps, regular field visits of the areas so that the beneficiaries can avail the benefits of various schemes.
DDC further directed to ensure display the name of beneficiaries and details of stock position on notice board within ten days positively.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, District Information Officer, Er.Sajad Bashir Somberia, AD FCS&CA Mohd Arif Lone, TSOs of the district were present.
