RAJOURI, OCTOBER 02 : marked a significant day in Nowshera’s quest for a leprosy-free future. Under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh Magotra, Director of Health Services Jammu, and Manohar Rana, Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, the Kusht Mukti Abhiyan was successfully organized . This momentous event aimed to dispel the darkness surrounding leprosy, promoting awareness about its causes, transmission, symptoms, treatment, and prevention.
Community-Led Initiative Dr. Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer of Nowshera, led the charge, ensuring the message reached the grassroots level with the invaluable participation of ASHA workers . The event was a resounding success, with various activities conducted across health institutions, Anganwadi centers, and the community.
