DEAR VOTERS  (from pirpanjal.)

THE ELECTIONS ARE OVER,

We have ,once again passed through a short but tumultuous fortnight ,after a long pause of a decade, deciding who could be the most appropriate person to represent us in law making institutions.

The unfortunate part of this exercise, as we all are used to, is that the process of election engineering, once again, dwindled to settle itself on religion, caste, community, ethnicity and the entire social fabric re-crashed under the weight and stress of these undesirably pressing factors and considerations.

For a brief period we turned to hate , enmity and despise unto those with whom we live and share joys, sorrows, challenges and ordeals.

This change of behaviour left our faces, personas and images bruised, tormented and gasping.

Whatever all of us do to make the face of our region blotless, clean, and charming over the intervening period , goes down the drain leaving bruise marks, black dots and scratches within this momentous fortnight.

Towards the end of every bad fortnight , we realise our faults and rejoin our ranks but with a lot of remorse and repentance and with our faces blushing with Shame.

Now that the shaky fortnight has passed leaving behind the bruises and injuries, we must rise to our levels and start healing the teasing wounds, in a quest to replaster our relations and return smiles for smiles and love for love, forgetting the bitterness of the dream that we struggled through during the fortnight.

Let us embrace one another spitting out whatever we said and did during elections .
