ADC Rajouri honors family of Martyr Mustaq Ahmed Mir.

RAJOURI, AUGUST 08:–Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria today visited Kheora and paid tributes to Martyr, Mustaq Ahmed Mir who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation on 02 July 2004 while fighting with the militants in Kistwar. He was a DySP in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

During his visit to the martyr’s residence at Kheora, ADC, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria interacted with the family members, offered condolences. He acknowledged the supreme sacrifice made by the martyr and assured the family of all possible support from the district administration. ADC reiterated the commitment of district administration to supporting the families of martyrs and ensuring their welfare. As a part of the “Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam” campaign, he also planted a tree in memory of the martyr, symbolizing the enduring legacy of his sacrifice. He also said that the compaign of honouring martyr’s families will continue in the district till 14th of August 2024.

Among the others, DIO NIC Muzafar Mir, and Tehsildar Rajouri, Varinder Choudhary also accompanied the ADC during his visit.
