An awareness camp regarding traffic rules was organized by the District Police in collaboration with NGO Blood Donors here at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR : A large numbers of locals and Officers of District Police Udhampur participated in the camp. Traffic rules were taught to the violators thereby filling a form by the members of NGO. It is pertinent to mention here that Blood donors association have been provided with proper volunteers uniform by the Dy. SP Traffic. The awareness camp will remain in force for three days commenced from today. On this occasion *Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Om Parkash Panday(IPS)* was Chief Guest. While addressing the media persons, SSP said that an awareness camp was organized by the District Police in collaboration with the Blood Donors NGO . it is oftenly noted that police illegally published violators and thereafter punished them, but in the awareness camp police and NGO members awaring all the traffic violators thereby filling a form in which they were pointed out that what type of traffic violation he / she has made. After three days if the same violation repeat the same traffic rules which pointed out in the farm will be compounded on spot , he added. He also appeals drivers and motorbike riders to cooperate with them.Dy. SP Headquarters Rohit Chadgal (JKPS) and Sub inspector Jaswinder Singh along with other police officials were present on the awareness this drive.
