Deputy Commissioner Rajouri inaugurates medical camp for Drivers and staff of commercial vehicles

Rajouri,May,24: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today inaugurated a free eye checkup and Medical Camp for Commercial Drivers.The camp was organised by Motor Vehicle Department Rajouri in collaboration with Health Department at Bus Stand Rajouri.

The camp was inaugurated in presence of Senior Superintendent of Police,Yougal Manhas, Assistant Regional Transport Officer,Inzar Rana Medical officers,inspector Motor Vehicle Department Rajeev Basin and Aslam Pervaiz.

The team of Doctors from Health Department conducted the medical check up, eye test, others and provided free medicines to the Drivers and conductors of the Commercial vehicles. The slogans and road sign pamphlets were also distributed to the Drivers.More than 200 commercial drivers and conductors participated in the camp.

Speaking on the occasion DC advised the participants to avoid over speeding, racing, drunken driving use of mobile phone while driving, wrong overtaking and underage driving to avert the road accidents and loss of precious lives.

The ARTO Inzar Rana advised Commercial Drivers to get their vehicles mechanically fit. He also advised them to follow traffic rules for their own safety and adopt safety measures to reduce the accidents to save precious lives.
