RAJOURI APRIL 03:– In a ground breaking development, the authorities of Government Medical College (GMC), Rajouri, have joined hands with CURE India which has MoU signed with NHM to establish a specialized center for the treatment of Club Foot patients. This decision was made during a virtual meeting attended by key stakeholders including Dr. Santhosh George, Director of CURE International Trust, Dr. A. S. Bhatia, Principal of Government Government Medical College, Rajouri, Dr. Mehmood Hussain Bajar, Medical Superintendent of AH GMC, Rajouri, Dr. Irfan Malik, HOD of Orthopaedics, Vidhushi Sharma, State Program Coordinator at Children in India, and Sahil Lone, DEIC Manager.

The collaboration aims to provide free treatment and support to every child born with clubfoot, irrespective of their socio-economic background or geographical location. The new center at GMC Rajouri will focus on delivering high-quality care and specialized interventions to ensure the well-being of Club Foot patients in the region.

This initiative underscores the commitment of GMC Rajouri and CURE India to address the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations and promote inclusive healthcare practices. The establishment of the Club Foot treatment center marks a significant step towards enhancing access to quality healthcare services for all individuals in need.
