SRINAGAR MARCH 11:–The sacred month of Ramadhan serves not only as a time for spiritual reflection and devotion but also as an opportunity to address pressing societal issues. Moulana Waseem Reza Kashmiri, a prominent young religious figure, shares valuable insights on the importance of self-purification and the establishment of a transparent society during this blessed month.

Ramadhan is more than just a month of fasting; it is a time of abundant blessings. Extends warm greetings to the people, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the transformative power of the month. He highlights its role in fostering self-discipline, repentance, forgiveness, patience, altruism, compassion, human brotherhood, societal reform, and unity.

In a statement from the holy city of Qom, Waseem Reza Kashmiri, a young Islamic Seminary scholar of the Al-Mustafa(Pbuh) International University of Howza Elmia Qom stresses the divine nature of fasting as an obligation. He encourages believers to dedicate time to Quranic recitation, understanding its meanings, and using the month of Ramadhan as a golden opportunity to enhance both worldly and spiritual aspects of life.

Quoting the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(S), Moulana Waseem Reza explains that Ramadhan is a month where divine blessings are abundant, and supplications are readily accepted. He motivates individuals to dedicate themselves to worship and goodness, seeking Allah’s satisfaction and preparing for forgiveness and mercy.

The Seminary from Jammu and Kashmir sees Ramadhan as a transformative month, promoting virtues such as patience, generosity, and compassion. He urges a special focus on caring for orphans, strangers, and the poor, emphasizing the importance of good conduct and empathy for others.

Beyond personal transformation, Moulana Waseem Reza Kashmiri issues a call to action. He urges Friday prayer leaders, congregational preachers, and speakers to actively combat rising crimes and drug abuse in Jammu and Kashmir. This, he believes, is crucial for the establishment of a transparent and peaceful society.

The need for proactive social awareness campaigns, particularly against social ills and drug abuse. In his teachings, he calls upon religious leaders and preachers to recognize the shared responsibility of caring for the less fortunate, including the needy and orphans.
