After calling the journalist was not allowed to go into the office ; Public service officials are flouting public service rules

JAMMU JANUARY 18:–In the new era of the 21st century, where there are claims to improve and strengthen the aspects of the communication system, if you see, you will not believe that journalists are being disrespected by public servant officials in the Department of Information and Public Relations in Jammu and Kashmir The situation and spectacle has become so much that the journalist is ashamed to see the climate of the department.

“I am very proud of the fact that I have not made any compromises for misleading or false reporting till date and I will not make any compromises till my last breath against the corruption going on in the government offices of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.Editor of Northern Times has said during he sent a report to the media for to publicize.”

It is worth mentioning that today Northern Times Editor Ashok Raina was called by joint Director information headquarter Jammu by means of his cell one number yesterday during office hours today

That for the purpose of redressing the complaints and grievances it is a pity that at around 1 o’clock in the office, when Northern Times editor Ashok Raina reached the entrance gate of the office, the security officers posted on the spot after make recognition the entry in the entry register did not allow him to enter the office and said that it is prohibited to go inside the office for any work until the relevant officers come personally to invite him.

Many officials and people saw on the spot that how much the scenes of movie was played for the viewers, why after call did the Joint Headquarters, Jammu, ask the editor and make him wait in the park for several hours, and then refrained from picking up the editor’s phone

It is true that before this incident, many other journalists had experience of similar incidents, but the editor of Northern Times himself became convinced today when the public service officer in the Department of Information and Public Relations paid for his inappropriate attention and discriminatory approach towards him

. However, it is not necessary for a public servant to treat journalists with courtesy, but any citizen can come to the office and have the right to meet any claimant with any official posted in the office.

Every citizen is entitled to it because any government office is the property of the people and the common man. Be it a journalist or a common man, a public servant official cannot prevent anyone from meeting and as far as reprisal of grievances is concerned, without facing the table they can never be done or sitting down.

It is noteworthy that the Information and Public Relations Department of Jammu and Kashmir has forced a Kashmiri Pandit journalist who was displaced from his home to close down his publication by force, which is a shameful incident and what is freedom of speech? JDI headquarter alone can explain to the people of the state and will also be able to tell whether he could have expressed his willingness to sit on the table face to face to resolve all the complaints and problems of Northern Times editor Ashok Raina according to the Public Servant Rules or not. .
