ADDC reviews implementation of PMSSS scheme at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY-13:- In order to review implementation of Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), Pre-Matric, Post Matric and Merit cum means Scholarships in the district, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar convened a meeting of officers.

ADDC asked the concerned officers to educate the students in rural and far flung areas about the scholarship schemes. He also urged upon the heads of education institutes and ZEOs to work in mission mode and enable the poor students take advantage of these schemes,

District Social Welfare Officer, Sana Khan presented an overview of various scholarship programmes being implemented in the district.

The meeting was attended by, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vikar Giri, Chief Education Officer, Daljeet Singh, District Information Officer, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, besides all Principals of Higher Secondary Schools and ZEOs of Udhampur.
