RAJOURI, AUGUST 25:–It is hard to believe at the present time of advanced technology, & availability of adequate & advanced infrastructure that an office of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (Executive Engineer-PMGSY) Budhal is operating from Rajouri about 60 Kms from Budhal town.

A prominent BJP leader of the Budhal Assembly Segment has expressed his resentment and demanded the immediate shifting of an unlawfully operating PMGSY Budhal office from Rajouri to Budhal.
Inhabitants of Budhal & adjoining areas said that the operation of PMGSY Budhal office from Rajouri has an alarming impact on the local populace, the region’s growth as well as on the state exchequer.

“The impermissible operation of the PMGSY Budhal office in Rajouri has created an array of challenges that hinder the advancement of Budhal and unfairly burden the state’s financial resources,” said Manzoor Naik.

The demand for the relocation of the PMGSY office to Budhal underscores the importance of accessibility in fostering effective development.

By establishing an office in the community, government officials and local residents can collaborate seamlessly, leading to expedited project planning, execution, and maintenance of road projects under the PMGSY initiative,” said BJP leader.
The current state of affairs, where the PMGSY Budhal office functions at a far away location from Budhal, is causing a myriad of problems that negatively impact the region’s development and state finances.
