POONCH AUGUST 06 :–A deputation of retired senior officers, retired technocrats , political and social workers headed by Jahangir Hussain Mir Ex Deputy Chairman Legislative Council of erstwhile J&K State met Yasin M Chowdhary deputy commissioner Poonch. It was a courtesy call . Members of the deputation in one voice appreciated the way of working and many innitiatives taken by the present Deputy Commissioner regarding alround development of the district and in maintaining peace and communal harmony.

The deputation consisting on Retired KAS Officers, district officers, educationists and retired technocrats like doctors , engineers, Technocrats from agricultural , horticulturalAnimal Husbandary fields , revenue department and social and political workers offered their selfless services where and when required by district administration in the overall development of the district and maintaining peace and communal haromony. Matters like development of tourism potential of the district , creating of new sports facilities and renovation of the existing infrastructure ,eradication of drug menace, beautification of the Poonch Town, Development of horticulture and dairy farms in the district Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing and assured the deputation that he will try to work with all zeal and dedications for the alround development of the district. He also shared some significant initiatives/Projects taken by the district administration regarding overall development of the district and thanked the deputation for their visit and assured that he will always welcome healthy opinions and technical support from the retired officers and tenchnocrats .
