Two Notorious Drug Peddlers Arrested By Poonch Police.

POONCH AUGUST 04:–Continuing its war against drug menace  Patrolling party of Police Station Surankote headed by PSI Suman Sharma along with other officials of PS surankote were on patrolling duty and at about 18:30 hrs while performing Duty at Daru Sheikh road,Surankot. Police party rounded up two unknown suspects as they tried to escape on seeing police party. The active police team apprehended the said persons near Dargah Daru Sheikh. During their personal search, approximately 02/3 gms.of Heroine like substance got recovered from their possession. During the course of enquiry the suspects disclosed their identity as Mussurat Hussain Shah S/O Musaraf. Hussain Shah R/o Mendhar and Murtaza Hussain Shah S/o Ghulam Murtaza Shah R/o Phagla Tehsil Surankote. In this connection a case FIR No. 231/2023 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act. has been registered at Police Station Surankote and the investigation has taken up. The alleged accused persons have been arrested in the instant case. The arrest and recovery has been made by Inspr. Rajesh Thappa SHO PS Surankote assisted by PSI Rahul Angral under the supervision of Sh. Mushim Ahmed Additional SP Poonch and Hamid Ali Bandey Dy.SP PC Surankote and under the overall supervision of SSP Poonch Vinay Sharma JKPS.
