CMO Rajouri sought explanation of all BMOs for skipping virtual meetiing.

RAJOURI, JUNE 14:–Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri has asked all the six Block Medical Officers (BMOs) of the district to explain their position within twenty-four hours for not joining the virtual meeting on Wednesday to review the functioning of the National Tobacco Control program.
Vide his office show cause notice (No.CMO/R/2023-24/2137-40 dt 14/6/2023), the virtual review meeting was scheduled at 12.05 pm on Wednesday and the intimation along with for virtual meeting was circulated to all the BMOs well in time and even today they were informed telephonically but none of them bothered to join the virtual meeting.
Show cause notice also reads that the meeting was scheduled on the direction of Director Health Services under the Chairmanship of CMO, Dr. Rajinder Kumar.
“In view of such a non-serious conduct of you all, National Programs are already suffering at large and performance of the district is drastically on declining trend” read the show cause notice.
CMO’s show cause notice further read: “As such you all (BMOs) are directed to explain your position by tomorrow that why a disciplinary action may not be initiated against you for insubordination of a superior officer under J&K Civil Services Regulation Rules”.
The BMOs include of Health Blocks Sunderbani, Nowshera, Kalakote, Kandi, Darhal & Manjakot.
