Carreer Counselling and Guidence session cum Drug awareness held at Girls Model Higher Secondary school Handwara

HANDWARA MAY 02 :–After Grand Enrollment Drive first educational conference of the session was held at Girls Model Higher Secondary school Handwara in which more than one thousand students participated and interacted with the Captain Sami Ara Saroori the first Muslim female pilot of India. She threw light on carreer in aviation and role of girls for shaping the outstanding society. In the second session Dr Abdul Hafeez Masoodi Director General Land Records interacted with the students and talked about the civil services examination and how to do smart work. He talked about the importance of books and declared that there is no substitute to hard work. Both the speakers stressed upon the girls to aware their parents, friends and peers to remain away from drugs and mobile phones.
The school will carry on the legacy of counselling and Guidence in near future.
Finally The counsellor thanked the guests for their brain storming session.
