Dr Iqbal Malik joins as  Block Medical Officer Nowshera

RAJOURI APRIL 26:–Dr Iqbal Malik joined as BMO Nowshera in an event organised at BMO Office Nowshera where he formally took the charge. Several health officers and staff members welcomed him to his new office.
Dr Iqbal has a great reputation in the field of healthcare services and health administration. He has big experience in the field. He has earlier served as BMO Darhal and BMO Kandi.
Dr Iqbal Malik is known for his efficiency and able administration of healthcare services. He has been successful in providing quality healthcare services in far flung and remote areas also.
Dr Iqbal has received various awards for outstanding service in the field of Health. During his posting in Block Kandi Dr Iqbal Malik has tried his best to provide quality healthcare services at the doorsteps of the people.
Several field camps in outreach areas have been organised for the welfare of public.
Health checkup camps, awareness camps, SEHAT camps, Vaccination camps etc are a routine in Block Kandi. Besides every Saturday is celebrated there as School Health Day. The door to door COVID campaign initiated first by Dr Iqbal Malik became the key factor for 100% coverage of COVID vaccination. The successful model was later adopted in other States of India. It was also appreciated by the higher authorities including Union Health Minister and Bombay High Court.
Mega camps were also organised in every village and panchayat so that public including senior citizens, pregnant women, children and divyangs get their services in their own village saving their time and money.
The unique people friendly initiatives of Dr Iqbal Malik are highly appreciated by the public and he has received various awards and appreciation for his meritorious service including from Hon’able Lieutenant Governor.
