Ruheena Shahzad wishes people on Nauroz e Alam

SRINAGAR MARCH 21:–BJP Vice president Ganderbal district Ruheena Shahzad extends warm greetings to the people of entire UT Jammu and Kashmir, especially people of District Ganderbal ,” she said.

Ruheena Shahzad said that Nauroz, marks the onset of spring and the beginning of the year according to the Persian calendar.

Apart from holding different functions and cultural programmes, people also offer special prayers on this day. It is celebrated on the day of the astronomical Northward equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous /following day depending on where it is observed. She also prayed for peace, development and tranquillity in the UT.
