The Police, security forces, and civil administration officials are on the site,”.
While the Army blamed unidentified terrorists for the killings, locals blamed Army for the incident and demanded action against the killers.
Senior, Army, police & civil officers, including DIG Police Dr. Hasseb Mughal, IPS; Deputy GOC, Ace of Spades Division, Brigadier S. Mailk; Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, reached the spot and assured the protesters about fair Magisterial probe, Army’s internal inquiry and investigation by the police.

“The SIT has been asked to submit its report at the earliest. Army has also been asked to provide every possible help to the SIT including CCTV footage,” said SSP.
In this connection a case FIR has been registered at Rajouri police station under sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) IPC and Section 7/27 of the Arms Act.
BJP State President, Ravinder Raina told the reporters that he has raised the issue with Union Home Minister, Amit Shah; Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha, and DGP J&K who agreed to hold a fair investigation into the killings of two innocent civilians in Rajouri.
The deceased were identified as Kamal Kishore and Surinder Kumar, both resident of Muradpur (Phalyana village), while the injured, Anil Kumar, is a resident of Uttarakhand.
Kamal Kishore & Surinder Kumar, cousins, were shot dead outside the gate of Alfa TCP. Both were running a canteen inside the Alpha TCP complex at Phalyana and in routine they reach the gate between 6 & 7 am for their routine work.
Locals and family members alleged that the sentry at the gate opened fire in a case of mistaken identity because just a day back a search operation was launched in Muradpur area after the presence of two suspects.
While Anil Kumar in his post-operation statement said that two unidentified persons entered his rented room (in the vicinity of Alpha TCP), he had a physical scuffle with one of them and the other opened fire on him & left.
Following a violent protest, Dr. Haseeb Mughal, DIG said: “An FIR has been lodged & a probe has been started. There will be a professional and thorough probe into the incident. Teams will carry out forensic and ballistic investigations and the spot will be inspected. We assure a fair probe,”
