Rotary Club Grand & Oshodhara organised workshop on Women Empowerment

RAJOURI, DECEMBER 04:–Rotary Club Rajouri Grand and Oshodhara Women Empowerment Group (J&K) jointly conducted a Workshop on Women Empowerment here at the Happy Home School in Rajouri city.
As many as sixty girl students, fifteen female teaching staff, Rotary Club members; Principal, Neelu Bakshi, social activist, and columnist Sunaina Malik were among the participants.
A Workshop was conducted by Oshodhara Acharyas, Dr. Vidushi Badial, and Dr. Shilpa Dutta from the Women Empowerment team of Oshodhara Rajouri.
During the interactive session, all students and teachers shared their experiences.
It is observed in the interaction session that social, financial, and cultural empowerment is not possible without Emotional and Spiritual Empowerment.
Various components of women’s empowerment were discussed in detail.
“This workshop was basically a teaching and learning experience which, besides women, men ought to know and understand, “said the organisers.
A Meditation session was also conducted which helped the participants to get a short practical experience of Spiritual Empowerment.
In the end, Chartered President, Lokesh Bakshi; Secretary, Rajesh Sharma; Rtn Ravi Verma; Rtn Umesh Sharma, and noted columnist and social activist Sunaina Malik expressed their views and appreciated the point that women must learn to love themselves.
President, Rotary Club Grand, Amardeep Singh expressed the need of conducting such enlightening programs frequently.
A new program of the government of India ‘Ghar Ghar Dhayan’ was also highlighted.
