Udhampur Police seized 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining and transportation

UDHAMPUR NOVEMBER 20 :–Continuing its endavour to stop the illegal mining and transportation of minerals, Udhampur Police under the overall supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS seized 04 vehicles involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.

Police team of Police Post Tikri led by Incharge Police Post PSI Abdul Satar and assisted by Insp. Rajesh Sharma SHO Police Station Rehambal under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Sh. Sahil Mahajan seized 04 vehicles which were carrying sand and gravels illegally excavated from river beds. The seized vehicles bearing registration no. JK14B 7329, JK20 7329, JK14E 9455 and JK14F 6456 were later on handed over to Geology and Mining department for legal action.
