Couple receives serious burn injuries in accidental fire in Rajouri.

RAJOURI, OCTOBER 20:–In an accidental fire incident, a couple received serious burn i njuries at their rented accommodation at Narian in the late even hours in the Rajouri district.
The couple has been identified as Imtiaz (30) s/o Mohd Javed and Afsana Kousar (26) residents of village Marchola in Sunderbani tehsil and presently residing at Narian in rented accommodation.
Eyewitnesses said that Afsana was preparing dinner. Reportedly their daughter entered the kitchen and while picking up an item, a bottle-carrying patrol accidentally fell on the LPG stove and it caught fire.
Afsana received more than 60% burn injuries in the inferno and Imtiaz while attempting to dodge the fire and save Afsana, he also received burn injuries on his hands and arms.
Both were rushed to the sub-district hospital at Nowshera. Doctors provided them initial necessary treatment and later referred the couple to Government Medical College at Jammu for specialised treatment in the burn unit.
