RBI GoI organised Banking Ombudsman Scheme in collaboration with NSS unit of GDC Kishtwar

Kishtwar 25 Apr..:–In a historic move , Reserve Bank of India organised a “Banking Ombudsmann Scheme” in the Conference Hall of Degree College in collaboration withith NSS Unit of Govt Degree College Kishtwar. Shri P Shimrah, who is RBI Ombudsmann Incharge for J&K was invited  as the Chief Guest and Shri H. S Verma Secretary to the Office of Ombudsman, Reserve Bank of India , acted as Guest of Honour among which other Senior Officers of RBI were  as Special Guest on the occasion.
The whole programme was presided over by Principal of the College Prof P. K. Sharma. The whole programme was coordinated and managed by NSS Incharge Prof. Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo. Speakers explain in detail about Financial Transactions, Digital & Net banking, Cryptocurrency, Bitcoins,Saving schemes, Banking Reforms for Women, Banking frauds and steps to avoid them. Question answer session was held in the end where detail explanation was given to different questions put up by faculty and students. It is pertinent to mention that NSS Unit GDC Kishtwar headed by Prof Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo has already been actively involved  with great zeal and zest in almost all the Social, Developmental, Economical, Cultural and Environmental issues of the district in general and society in particular.
