BADC Urges LG to Address Grievances of Vocational Trainers ; Dr Shazad demands Fair & Secure Job Policy for Vocational Trainers

JAMMU OCTOBER 20 :— Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference(JK_BADC), a registered organization working for the welfare of residents of border areas have urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to address the genuine grievances of the Vocational Trainers who are serving in the school education department and helping in imparting skills and training to children for better future.

The organization stated that it is painful that these highly educated vocational trainers who are serving the community are not given their due share wherein they are partners in implementing National Education Policy.

Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, Chairman of JK-BADC and former Vice Chancellor expressing solidarity with the vocational trainers informed that recently a delegation of these trainers from birder districts of Rajouri, Poonch & Jammu met him and apprised the major issues and grievances of the vocational trainers.

Dr Shazad Said these are highly educated youth who are contributing in national building and must be given their due share. He said the main demands of welfare body of the vocational trainers is formulation of workable and special job policy excluding the private companies in their recruitment who are allegedly eating state exchequers money for no fruitful purpose. Dr Shazad assured the delegation that BADC firmly stands with the Vocational Trainers and all their genuine issues would be raise at all appropriate forums and concerned authorities for seeking justice .

The formet VC also demanded provision of Provident Fund, Maternity leave Annual Increment in wages for the trainers at par with other regular employees of J & K.
