DIG RP Range Dr. Haseeb Mughal chairs security & crime review meeting at Rajouri.

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 07:–Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal, IPS, Deputy Inspector General (DIG)of Police, Rajouri-Poonch Police Range on Wednesday chaired a security and crime review meeting here at Rajouri.
Besides Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Aslam, the meeting was attended by all the Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), and Station House Officers (SHOs) of district Rajouri.
The meeting was held in the conference hall at District Police Line (DPL).
The agenda of the meeting was crime review, law & order, terrorism scenario, drug trafficking, traffic management, redressal of public grievances in time bound manner, and initiative for the welfare of the Jawans.
At the outset of the meeting, SSP Rajouri addressed a welcome note to DIG R-P Range and all the participants.
All the supervisory officers/ SHOs were briefed to gear up their investigating officers (IOs) for disposal of the under investigation cases.
The supervisory officers/SHOs were also briefed about the disposal of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) cases.
Special focus was laid on the Counter Insurgency Operations, strengthening of the intelligence grid at the police station levels, and were advised to beef up the security of the police units by strengthening the Perimeter Security.
SHOs were directed to fix their target on a monthly, fortnightly, weekly and daily basis in order to achieve better results on all the agendas of the meeting.
Those who attended the meeting include SSP, Mohd Aslam, JKPS; SDPO Nowshera; Deputy SP HQs (Rajouri); Deputy SP Operations (Rajouri); SDPO Thanamandi; Senior Prosecuting officer, DPO (Rajouri), and all SHOs of the Rajouri district and RPHQ/DPO staff.
