EJAC Kupwara appeals Director SMAGRA to release the outstanding MDM Cooking cost and wages of Cooks

KUPWARA JULY 16:—Mir Fayaz heading EJAC in Kupwara has appealed the Director SMAGRA to release the pending cooking cost of MDM to schools.
Mir Fayaz vociferously demanded the early disposal of funds for MDM as from a quite long time almost a year,the MDM Cooking cost has not been disbursed and teachers have taken the edibles from shops on loan basis.The shopkeepers are now looking with despise on teachers and are refusing to lend the MDM stocks to teachers.Mir Fayaz said that teachers are now meeting the expenses from their salaries and which has badly effected the lives of teachers
Moreover the cooks engaged for cooking MDM are also without remuneration from last one year.The most astonishing and irksome fact is that the cooks spent the EID without their wages.

It is very unfortunate that a whopping sum of 2.20 crores are pending liability of MDM Cooking cost of district kupwara.
Similarly 1.50 crore is the outstanding wages of Cooks of district kupwara
Then How come the poor students get the balanced Diet through POSHAN scheme

Mir Fayaz emphasized on the need that the MDM Cooking cost charges should be released in advance with rice supply,so that teachers may not suffer on account of delay in funds.
