Rajouri Police organized Thana Diwas at Manjakote

RAJOURI MAY 26:–SSP Rajouri Mohd Aslam Choudhary-JKPS chaired a Thana Diwas at Police Station Manjakote today alongwith SDPO Manjakote Shamsher Singh, SHO PS Manjakote Harmohinder Singh and other officers/officials. The program was attended by general public of Sub-Division Manjakote including PRIs, respectable citizens, representatives of public, civil society, and others. Some of prominent including Moulvi Gulzar, Farooq Khan (Political Activist NC), Choudhary Mohd Latief (Sarpanch), Abdul Hussain (Sarpanch), Shamsher Hussain (Sarpanch), Choudhary Mohd Jameel (Sarpanch) Talib Hussain (BJP worker) Mumtaz Hussain (Sarpanch), Mohd Ishrar (Naib Sarpanch), Munshi Khan (Social Worker & Panch) among others. Besides, dozens of citizens belonging to all walks of life participated.

SSP Rajouri addressed and introduced the participants about the purpose of Thana Diwas and sought the cooperation of public to curb the spread of drug menace in the area including other social evils. The general public assured their cooperation. Some other issues pertaining to other departments were also raised during the occasion which will be brought into the notice of concerned departments for adequate disposal. The participants expressed satisfaction for organizing the Thana Diwas and demanded more such Police-Public interactions for cordial police public relations and and taking appropriate legal action against criminals and anti-social elements.
