3-day vertical interaction course on terrorism and counter insurgency concludes at SKPA Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, MAY 21:– The three Day Vertical Interaction Course on “Terrorism and Counter Insurgency” concluded today at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur.

Around 20 officers from different units of J&K Police are participating in the training programme.

V.K Jamwal, SSP, Dy. Director (Outdoor) SKPA was the chief guest on the occasion.

In his valedictory address, he summed up the agenda of the course and laid emphasis on the tactical preparedness to deal with terrorism and counter insurgency. He reiterated that threats on internal security was one of the major challenges for the law enforcement agencies and asked the participants to equip themselves with all legal frameworks to deal with all such challenges. He asked the participating officers to implement the learning on ground to curb the nefarious designs of the ANEs/ASEs.

During the training programme, faculty from Academia including that from the Police Academy Udhampur shared their experience on different subjects with the participants. The course was coordinated by Sukhvir Singh, Dy.SP & Inspr. Sandeep Mahajan, Member faculty SKPA Udhampur.
