3- Day vertical interaction course on Terrorism & Counter insurgency commences at SKPA

UDHAMPUR, MAY 19:— A three day Vertical Interaction Course (VIC) on “Terrorism and Counter Insurgency” commenced today here at Sher-I -Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur.

As many as 20 officers of the SI to SSP ranks from all over J&K UT are participating in the course. The objective of the course is to aware the participants about burning issues of national security, challenges and threats emanating from the hostile neighbourhood in J&K and India, growing menace through Cyber Terrorism, Bio Warfare, Chemical and Nuclear weapon and their implications.

Mohan Lal, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor) SKPA, Udhampur inaugurated the course. In his inaugural address, Mohan Lal comprehensively summed up different facets of terrorism for the last three decades. The course is being coordinated by Sukhvir Singh, Dy.SP SKPAU and Inspector Sandeep Mahajan, member faculty.
