JAMMU MAY 09 :–In a press note issued here today Adv Syed Zeshan has made scratching attack on the drilling wing of Geology Mining Department, We won’t let anyone to destroy our mines and minerals causing extreme damages to environment of our state. From the day drilling wing has been grilled by UT Administration, the whole wing has lost senses, I am surprised what work is being carried out by drilling wing for which they are being paid.
The geology and Mining website shows achievements of drilling wing Jammu up to 2013-14 only. Can Director Geology Mining and Chief Drilling Engineer Geology and Mining Department Jammu Kashmir answer what’s the progress of Drilling wing Jammu in last five years?
What are the achievements of drilling wings except drawing salaries from state exchequer.The Drilling wing Jammu of Geology and Mining has proved to be white elephant for UT government. LG administration must look into the malpractices being carried out in Geology Mining department and initiate a high level probe to see loss to the govt exchequer moreover it’s high time to utilise services of idle sitting drilling officers of Jammu.
Reshuffling of entire drilling wing Jammu to Kashmir and vice Versa is need of hour to control the loss caused by the defunct corrupt department.
