BGSBU RAJOURI ORGANISE ONLINE WORKSHOP ON LATEX

RAJOURI APRIL 21:–Department of Mathematical Sciences, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, organized an ONLINE “WORKSHOP ON LATEX” in which more than 120 people from across the country participated. The programme began with a welcome address by the Head of the Department, Dr. Zaheer Abbas, during which he introduced the Resource person to the audience and highlighted the importance of such workshops. The Resource person for the workshop was Dr. Ritu Agarwal from “Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In his message, the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Akbar Masood congratulated the Department for organising the workshop which would definitely benefit the faculty members, research scholars and Post Graduate students. Further, he encouraged the Department to keep organising such events in future also and assured them that every possible help would be extended to them. During the workshop, the resource person Dr. Ritu spoke at length on the importance, historical background and implementation of the LATEX. During the lecture various queries were raised by the participants which she handled very efficiently. At the end of the lecture, many participants including students and faculty members (Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Dr. Javid Iqbal , Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. M. R. Lone, Mrs. Sharuti Gupta, Mr. Tanveer, Mr. Arif , and Dr. Naveen Sharma, Dr. Gulfam) made comments and appreciated the talk. The workshop ended with vote of thanks by Mrs. Sharuti Gupta.
