MC Rajouri alleges that DC Rajouri not only destroys public property but works hand in hand with Land grabbers

RAJOURI MARCH 22 :—In a recent incident in Rajouri, in which the District Development Commissioner hatched a conspiracy against the work of the Municipal Council of Rajouri while targeting the unauthorised demolition drive conducted by DC Rajouri, the Municipal Council of Rajouri claimed that DC Rajouri organised this demolition drive to benefit the land grabbers who are active in the area falling under the municipal council of Rajouri. The Municipal Council of Rajouri further believed that Deputy Commissioner Rajouri was working in collaboration with land grabbers because, as a result of the demolition drive, a public utility project cafe and passenger shed worth approximately Rs. 40 . 68 lakhs have been raised on the ground. The Rajouri Municipal Council also blamed this group of land grabbers for being active since 2017 and stealing crores of rupees from Rajouri’s innocent residents.The Rajouri Municipal Council also warned the deputy commissioner of Rajouri to take the recent demolition drive seriously, or else such illegal acts would be prosecuted harshly.

President Municipal Council Rajouri Advocate Mohammad Arif , President MC Kalakote Vijay Suri , President MC Thanamandi Shakeel Ahmed Mir , President MC Nowshera Narinder Kumar Raina ,Vice President MC Rajouri Bharat Bushan Vaid , Councillor Rajinder Gupta , Councillor Mushtaq Manhas , Councillor Kuldeep Raj , Councillor , Councillor Advocate Yogesh Sharma , Councillor Rabia Qureshi , Councillor Faheem Akhter , Councillor Javed Choughan , Councillor Gulfam Akhter , Social activist Mohammad Azam all in a one voice condemned this immature act and asked we will highlight this issue before the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor and also involve other municipalities against such illegal actions.
