Unrepaired Transformer Leave 300 Villagers In Darkness In Dildar Area Of Karnah

Srinagar March 03:–The residents of Dildar, who have been living in darkness since 27 February, say the transformers in their village keep blowing up because of excessive load.

A village in Karnah Kupwara has not had electricity since its transformers went bust four days ago.

Local Journalist Khushal Khawaja have repeatedly sought a transformer with a 150 KV capacity need, but electricity officials have ruled it out.

Residents say the village sees at least two to three time power cut a day as the transformers are ill-equipped to handle their needs.

the entire village went dark from last four days they consistently requesting the power officials to restore the power but till now the villagers still in darkness.
