Kishtwar February.05 :–Kishtwar Police has Launched a special drive against illegal mining to foil degradation of the river and other nallas of the district which makes them vulnerable to flood, even effecting Eco balance and endangering the habitation located nearby.
In this regard various Nakas were established at different locations of kishtwar and seized 3 tipper and arrested 03 tipper driver from the spot under jurisdiction of Police Station Kishtwar. The arrested person are identified as:-Tariq Hussain S/O Ghulam qadir Butt R/o Berwar Kishtwar,Sameer Ahmed Butt S/O Ghulam Qadir Butt R/O Kurya Kishtwar & Ghulam Mustafa Wani S/O Abdul Aziz Wani R/O Girinagar Kishtwar.
In this. Connection three FIR No. 18,19,20/2022 under relevant sections of law got registered at Police Station Kishtwar and accordingly investigation taken up.
