Bunjwah road thrown open for vehicular movement, Restoration and Snow Clearance done after hectic effort of PMGSY Department

BUNJWAH January 14:– After the major setback of post snowfall, the Dunadi Bunjwah road completely restorated and vehicular movement is open up to Buddhar Kither. As per details available, Bunjwah a snowbound region in Kishtwar district was completely cutoff from rest other regions and it takes some of days together for clearance of snow due to frozen surface and heavy snowfall.
It is important to mention that only 15 kms are blacktopped and rest the whole surface is having many patholes and muds that takes days together for its restoration.

A local resident from Bunjwah said that the concerned department has taken this task in a time bound manner and makes every possibilities of plying vehicles on Bunjwah road. Adding that located at a high attitude, the surface of road gets completely frozen due to minus temperature but the hectic efforts of contract had done works in the larger intrest of the general public while taking high risks for operating of men and machanary.

The Patnazi Kither has been restored except 250 meters, where it’s impossible for machine to clear snow due to worst surface of road.
Local appreciated the role of PMGSY Department Kishtwar and Contractor for hectic efforts and urged upon district administration for completion of blacktop works before the closing of the financial year.
