No Advocate ready to contest my case because Rape accused himself a Advocate;Some police officers suggest me to compromise with the accused:Rape Victim

Jammu, December 01: A case of Rape incident reported to be filed on 27-11-2021 before Pacca Danga Police Station Jammu against an Advocate Vikram Jamwal S/O Rajinder Jamwal of Ustad Mohallah Jammu.

The accused approached Hon’ble High court yesterday for bail as well as for Quashment of FIR. Hon’ble High court of Jammu denied the bail to accused person, However consider the Petition for Quashment of FIR and directed the police to investigate certain facts/aspects of the case as contended by the accused in his Petition through his Counsel Advocate P.S Pawar and fixed the case for hearing on 6-11-2021.

The complainant told the media house that no body is ready to contest her case in court of law as the accused person himself is a Advocate by profession so every Advocate to whom complainant is approaching denied to contest her case, she also told that Some police officers of Jammu initially compell to withdraw the complaint and after intervention of higher police official they registered the FIR but I.O of the case and SHO concerned suggested her to enter into compromise with the accused by giving statement in favour of accused or get ready to face investigation against her,She added.

It is unfortunate on part of the whole legal system if such things happened to a victim of Rape.
