Community mobilization cum enrollment drive held in remote area of education zone khari in Ramban

43 new admissions including dropouts readmitted on spot

Banihal, November 26: A Community mobilization cum enrollment drive was conducted in most potential and far flung area of education zone Khari in district Ramban by ZEO Khari Dev Raj Baghat.
As per press statement a progressive community mobilization cum enrollment Drive was conducted in Mahu area of education zone Khari under the directions of Principal Secretary School Education Department BK singh , SPD Samagra Shiksha and Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma . The program of action was chalked out under the supervision of CEO Ramban wherein Dy CEO Ramban Subash Chander Dubay
laid focus for conducting the result oriented enrollment drives in highly sensitive and potential areas where the targeted groups of the society are sensitized about the importance of education and the welfare schemes being provided by the Govt for the education of the children. It is worth to mention that first enrollment drive in the education zone was conducted in Mahoo Mangit areas of khari zone under guidance of District Resource Group Ramban in which DNO enrollment drive, N A Itoo provided various fruitful suggestions for the successfull conduct of the program. In his address ZEO Khari highlighted various welfare schemes initiated by GOI and the need of education for progress of the nation. The other speakers who spoke on the occasion including Shabir Ahmed Tantry Sr.Lecturer HSS Khari, Irshad Ahmed lecturer HSS Mahoo and some prominent citizens of the area. During the event as many as 48 new admissions including few drop outs were enrolled in various schools of the area and more admissions are expected in coming days on war footing the release said. Speakers urged the locals to admit their wards in government schools and take the benefit of government schemes being provided by the government for the male and female students enrolled in the government schools. They also stressed upon the readmission of dropouts and female students. Locals of the area hailed the drive and thanked officers present in the occasion for conducting such kind of drives in the remote areas and aware the masses for better education and schemes.local citizens, parents and PRIs was also present on the occasion.
