Stolen property recovered in Thanamandi, accused arrested

Rajouri October 12:–The police here in Rajouri’s Thanamandi sub division arrested an accused recovering stolen property from his possession.

Police said that a case wad registered in FIR 210/2021 under section 379 IPC in which a man complained about theft of his goat and cash with total value over thirty five thousand rupees

An investigation team headed by PSI Vikas Khullar under the supervision of SHO Thanamandi Fareed Ahmed during investigation rounded several suspects and zeroed in over the accused namely Shokit Ali son of Mohd Shafi resident of Majra Kund of Chassana in Reasi.

On disclosure during questioning of accused, goat valuing seven thousand rupees and cash to the tune of twenty eight thousand rupees was recovered.
