RAJOURI OCTOBER 08:–Various organisations here at Rajouri have condemned the killing of innocent persons in Kashmir, including the Principal & teacher of Boys HSS in Srinagar city.
The Islamic Welfare Organisation (IWO) Rajouri—headed by Shafqat Mir—said that in a civilised society there is no room for any incident in which innocent civilians are killed.
Shafqat Mir appealed to Civil Society of Kashmir to openly condemn such incidents and stand shoulder to shoulder with each other in such testing times.
He expressed condolences with the bereaved families of those killed and appealed State Administration to take immediate steps to prevent such incidents.
Sangarsh—a civic movement for justice, equality, peace, prosperity, & brotherhood has strongly condemned the selective killings of two teachers in Kashmir.
“Such inhumane act by the terrorists is not tolerable & we strongly condemned such incidents. News of the killing of innocent persons in Kashmir indicates that anti-national/social forces are hell-bent to disturb the socio-cultural ethos of the society” said Dr.Suresh Sangharshi, general secretary, Sangarsh.
He lambasted the security lapses in such incidents and appealed to Prime Minister & Lt Governor J&K to provide security to educational institutions.
“Teacher community is under great shock, fear, & threat after the incident and it is our duty to make them feel secure. The Political leadership of UT of J&K should come forward and should raise concern about the security of the teachers” said Dr.Suresh.
Farooq Inqalabi, District Vice-President, PDP (Rajouri) expressed concern over the killings of innocent people in J&K and said BJP is responsible as it has failed to provide security to the people.
“The BJP should tell the people who are these unknown (& remain unknown) gunmen who secretly kill innocent people, despite the heavy security deployment,” said Farooq and added BJP is responsible for the current chaos in the State.
“A nefarious conspiracy has been hatched in the State to destroy the brotherhood & defame the Kashmiri Muslims by killing innocent people. Exposing of such elements is the need of the hour,” said Farooq and appeal to the people of State to keep eye on suspicious people who are trying to make Heaven a Hell.
J&K Teachers Forum (JKTF Rajouri unit) has condemned the brutal killing of two innocent teachers and said such a barbaric act can’t be tolerated the civil society.
JKTF took out a candle march near Dak Bunglow & expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, lambasted the evildoers & appeal to the government for protection & necessary action.
JKTF also presented a memorandum to Additional DC for concern & safety /security of the teaching community in particular employees in the State in general.
