Only Covid death in J&K from Rajouri dìstrict.

RAJOURI AUGUST 26:–With one more Covid-19
death in Associated Hospital & Government Medical College (AH&GMC) the death toll climbs to 234 in Rajouri district
The deceased was 85 years old and a resident of Manjakot tehsil. This was the only Covid death in the State today.
District Administration is continuously appealing to the un-vaccinated population of the district to get inoculated at the earliest as it is the best solution to curb the looming threat (possible third wave) of a pandemic.
Presently there are 48 active cases out of 7213 found during the 2nd wave in the district with a recovery rate above 97 percent.
As only two patients, including a doctor, were tested positive today out of 1907 reports received, the Covid-19 positivity rate stands at 0.10%.
Of 48 positive, active cases, 20 are in home isolation, 6 in Panchyat CCCs isolation and 22 are in the hospitals, including 3 in GMC Rajouri, 11 in the Army hospital and 8 outside the district.
Threat and risk associated with Covid-19 is not over yet and the people should follow the Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) strictly to curb the spread of Coronavirus
