Haq Insaaf Council condemn Police for it’s high handedness on the Mourners of Imam Hussain (a.s) at Srinagar

Poonch August 17 :– In a press statement issued here today Adv Zeshan Syed has demanded stern action against those police officials who had not only brutally beaten the mourners but also the media fraternity.
He further said “It is reprehensible that those who are supposed to uphold the law trample upon the democratic values in such a manner,”He maintained that else where in the world police is for ensuring safety, security and to maintain law and order but in this part of heaven turned into hell police brutalities has no boundaries.
Adv Zeshan Syed said UT Administration had permitted the processions to be carried out in the Holy month of Muharram and then they rolled back the order which challenged the integrity and intentions of the government, today’s police action was actually a blow to the sentiments of Shia Community residing across erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
