For the second consecutive day the search and destroy operation remained continued in the forested area of Panghai village where the security forces on Friday had killed two terrorists.
Reliable sources said that contact was also established today with the hiding terrorists and after a brief exchange of fire, it was stopped.
Senior police and Army officers remained present in Panghai village till late evening hours and the entire area is under the cordon of security forces.
