Restrictions imposed for Covid containment & management eased in Rajouri.

Rajouri :–Following directions from the J&K Government, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, District Magistrate Rajouri in an order issued today has extended more relaxations including withdrawing of weekend curfew.
However,the daily night curfew will continue between 8 pm and 7 am while all outdoor shops are permitted to open on all the days from 7 am to 7 pm.
Bars and restaurants can open for in-dining only with 50% of their total capacity & only for those are vaccinated or carrying a negative RT-PCR report of 48 hours.
Indoor sports complexes have also been permitted to open with the same conditions applied for bars/restaurants.
All shops in the indoor shopping complexes/Malls can open only for the vaccinated/ with 48 hours negative RT-PCR or RAT customers.
DM also directed all the BMOs to follow three ‘T’ protocol, i.e Testing, Tracking & Treating. BMO’s were asked to isolate/quarantine positive cases/ their contacts if found during aggressive testing.

The Order also reads for quick isolation/treatment of Covid-19 patients in the hospitals/health facilities/panchayat CCCs.
All the Additional District Magistrates/Tehsildars in-charge joint teams of Covid-19Managemnet have been asked to intensify vaccination drive.
All the concerned officers/officials, including ADMs, Tehsildars, SDPOs SHOs etc have been directed to ensure full compliance to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and the defaulters must be dealt under relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act& the IPC.
The positivity rate in the district is 2.59%, while the recovery rate is 96.9% and the death rate is 2.04% overall.
Out of 2051 reports received today, 10 persons were tested positive including one symptomatic.
At present, 31 patients are under treatment in the district, including 12 in GMC&AH Rajouri, 17 in the army hospital, and one outside the district.
During second-wave 6870 active, positive cases were detected in the district out of which 113 are still active, including 18 in home isolation, 64 in PCCCs & 31 in the hospitals.
The district has achieved a 100% vaccination target for health care workers, 97% target for frontline workers and 100 % for above 45 years age group.
