DM Rajouri Chairs Civil-Military Liaison Conference

RAJOURI, JULY, 03: –District Magistrate Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today chaired a Civil-Military Liaison Conference to discuss various issues under its purview.

The meeting was attended by Town Commander, ADM Commander, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Dev Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Additional Deputy Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Defence, Salim Qureshi, SDO Manmohan representatives from the Military and Tehsildar Rajouri, Manjakote, Sunderbani and Nowshera.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on various issues related to the issuance of requisition order, derequisitions attestation of mutations, joint verifications of civil and military authorities, wherever required, timely release of rentals compensations, illegal occupation of land under the possession of Defence Forces among others.

During the meeting, Commanding Officer Romeo Force raised the issue of land acquisition for construction of a road near their headquarters and rehabilitation of families residing inside the station.

DM asked the representative of the Assistant Defence Estate Officer to place the indent for land and joint verification by the revenue authorities for the same, wherever required.

They were directed to speed up the case of Mangat Ram for permanent settlement or acquisition of land under the use and occupation of defence forces.

DM also instructed the concerned Tehsildar to attest to the mutations where RO has been issued. He said that coordination issues between Defence and revenue offices shall be ironed out by conducting Tehsil Level interactions between defence representatives and Tehsildars.

Assistant Defence Estate Officer was asked to expedite the process for release of compensation of land acquired by Defence Forces for which final award has been issued.

De notification of Dadawali Bowli also discussed in the meeting.

In all, a total of 07 issues related to the acquisition, de-requisition of immovable property, demarcation of defence land, attestation of mutations, notification, rental issues were discussed and resolved during the meeting.
