DC Rajouri handed over sanction orders to families /children of Covid Mortalities.

Rajouri , June 30:–
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh Kumar Shavan today handed over sanctioned orders as financial assistance under Special Assistance Scheme for Covid Mortalities (SASCM) / Saksham to the beneficiaries.
He, along with Advocate Naseem Liaqat, District development Council Chairman also interacted with the Saksham beneficiaries in the presence of Pawan Kumar, Additional DDC; Bilal Mir, District Statistical & Evaluation Officer and Wakeel Ahmed Bhat, District Social Welfare Officer.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) handed over thirty-seven scholarships and an equal number of pension sanction letters to the families of Covid victims under the scheme.
“District Administration Rajouri is always with them in these tough circumstances and shall extend full support to them in this time of difficulties” said DC.
The beneficiaries thanked the Deputy Commissioner and appreciated the District Administration for its concern for the needy families amid the pandemic.
DDC council Rajouri is committed to extending all possible support to the families and students who lost their only bread earner in this pandemic” said Naseem Liaqat.
He also thanked Lt Governor J&K for reaching out to the victim families for their rehabilitation.
Under the said scheme financial assistance as a monthly pension of Rs1000 is provided to those families who have lost their only or all earning members.
While scholarship of Rs 20000 and Rs 40000 up to 12th class and for under graduation and post-graduation/ professional courses respectively, to children who have lost their earning parents /earning siblings/earning legal guardians.
